Between investing in myself and affirmations, this is how my new life begins!

For so long I have played small, hidden behind my doubts and fears to the point where I would take a look at luxury lifestyles and think that I could never live that way. My money mindset was very negative. “I’ll never make enough.” “I’ll never be able to travel the world.” I’m sure I’m not the only one who has said those things aloud at one time or another.

Why would we limit ourselves when the world is limitless?

I really had to take the time to get clear on what I truly wanted in this big, wide, open world. What is my purpose in this lifetime? What I am doing right now is how my life is supposed to be. I’m supposed to be living in the present. I’m supposed to be speaking my truth and letting other women speak their truth through my platform. In order to do this, I have to be consistent and set goals.

Here are the top 5 things that I have done to create my new mindset:

1. Get clear on who you truly want to be.

Take the time to create an avatar. Name her. Come up with her back story. What does she do for her morning & evening routines? Where does she live? What are her hobbies? What is her lifestyle aesthetic? Journal it all out and then start living it.

For example, my avatar is Laylah Guillory. She lives in a smaller town so she can escape the hustle and bustle of city life but she is the CEO of her own digital media company. She’s been on the cover of Forbes, Inc., Success, and Becoming Iconic Magazine. A New York Times Bestselling author, keynote speaker (has her own TEDx talk), worldwide traveler, podcaster, blogger, and content creator with multi-million dollar brand deals, and is a billionaire from all her income streams. This includes investments, real estate, and other passive income. She lives the small-town life but still has her bougie ways. She has her own private vehicle collection (Porsche Cayenne, Jeep Wrangler, pink Nissan GTR R35, pink Porsche 992 GT3RS), has a decent-sized home (not a mansion) that she and her husband built on their own land (generational wealth), and has multiple properties including a vacation home in Japan. She speaks the following languages: English, Japanese, Korean, and Tagalog. She has a style aesthetic of old money and alt but when she feels like it you will see her in sweats and tees. She is obsessed with the ’90s & early 2000s pop, K-pop, and J-pop music. She loves luxe brands like YSL and Chanel. Her favorite movies are Pretty Woman (Julia Roberts is her fave actress), Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30 (Jennifer Garner is 🤌🏽), and My Cousin Vinny (Mona Lisa Vito is all I can say!).

I think you get it now. You have to be very specific about her so you can embody her. It’s no different than Beyonce & Sasha Fierce.

Think of your avatar as your Sasha Fierce.

2. Embody your avatar on a daily basis.

You have to embody your avatar every day. This is how you start to manifest the life that you truly desire. We have to be delusional as if we already have this lifestyle. If that means you dress up every day even though you’re not going anywhere, do it! Visualize that you are in the French Rivera on a yacht or at your second home in Italia. Whatever you need to do to make sure you start living your delusional second life until it becomes your reality.

3. Create a vision board with all of your goals, vacations, etc that you want for the year.

Visualization is such a powerful and magical thing. I’m living proof that it works. I have manifested everything that I’ve ever put on a vision board. That includes the home that I currently live in now. I stopped doing vision boards for a while because I just didn’t feel like it but let’s be real I wasn’t manifesting anything that I wanted when I didn’t have my vision board. Of course, vision boards are not for everyone but many celebrities, millionaires, and billionaires talk about the law of attraction, manifestation, etc. This goes along with visualization and it is easier to do visualization exercises with a vision board because you have something physical to look at instead of just using your imagination to picture it.

4. Remove people, places, things, and ideas that no longer serve you.

Got a toxic partner, friends, or family? Live in a shitty area? Have a ton of stuff you kept that gives you bad memories? Constantly self-sabotaging yourself? If you have this or other things that are keeping nothing but negativity around, get rid of them. I know this is easier said than done but baby steps are all you need. Take it one day at a time.

5. Read Self-development books.

Reading 15-20 minutes a day minimum is all you need. If you don’t know where to start when it comes to self-development books, follow people that you admire. See what they are reading. Here is a list of books that I have read to help you start: (*Disclaimer* These Amazon links I do get commission on)

I hope my top 5 help you become the richest baddie that you can possibly be because sis you deserve it!
